Where has the Philippines gone?Monday, February 25, 2008I don't know if it's because of the current leader (or "mother") of the Philippine Islands. I don't know if it's because of the erratic weather we are currently experiencing. I don't know if it's because of some big television icon who suddenly decided to switch channels.Where has the Filipino spirit gone? At EDSA, earlier this morning, police officers flooded the shrine of what should have been the monument for people power. The mass was cancelled, FVR's speech was cancelled, GMA was apparently "too busy" to appear at EDSA -- what is happening? Raising the flag even became a problem. "Hindi ito omen! Hindi ito omen!" Believe what you want to believe, say what you want to say, all I know is that there is a tiny dwarf residing in Malacañang that should do something to fix all of what's happening in our dear country.
